This particular year has been a very interesting and trying one to say the least. But with great misfortune can often come great breakthroughs. In a matter of months, teachers were able to transform their face- to-face instruction into a hybrid of synchronous and asynchronous learning. Was it seamless definitely not, but like in all flights when you are rising in altitude you are bound to meet some turbulence. The teachers who were not really comfortable with technology were thrown in the proverbial deep end, and were able to adapt to the current circumstances. All adversity forces us in some way to change and rise to challenge which often comes with beneficial outcomes if we choose.
